Insulation jackets for double valves and valve sets
When several components sit close together on one pipe, they can get one jacket for the double valve or a set of jackets that fit together. Express keeps track of which jacket covers the flange between two neighbours.
Why insulate?
Less energy loss
Uninsulated components lose heat around the clock. A jacket keeps the heat in the pipe where it belongs.
Personnel protection
A jacket covers hot surfaces so staff don't get burned by accident.
Off and on for service
The jacket closes with fasteners and can be removed and refitted when the component needs service.

Construction
- Filling and fabric are chosen for the operating temperature and environment. Several filling types are available, e.g. mineral wool and aerogel.
- Both onshore and offshore are supported – the rule set is chosen when ordering.
- Fastening as needed: hooks, straps, lacing cord or velcro.
- Each jacket gets a label with tag no. and QR code, so it is easy to reorder.
Questions and answers
What temperature can it handle?
It depends on the filling and fabric. State the operating temperature when ordering, and we choose materials that fit.
Can I measure it myself?
Yes. The guide in Express shows the sketch and asks for one measurement at a time. A photo alone can't give measurements, so you measure with a tape measure.
Can the jacket be removed again?
Yes. The jackets are removable and close with hooks, straps, cord or velcro, so they can come off for service and go back on.
Do you ship outside Denmark?
Yes, jackets can be shipped internationally. Enter the delivery address when ordering.
